Learning and Development at Accuro Homecare

Here at Accuro Homecare we know how important it is for you as a new worker to build relationships with your team mates and with the people you will be supporting. We have designed your first day activities and induction program to give you the best possible start, our People Safety & Culture Team and Practice Coaches will support you to build connections from day one.

On your first day, we will spend time together going through your role. You will also get the chance to meet some customers and work alongside a Practice Coach delivering your first few services. This will provide a practical, hands-on introduction to the team and equip you with the tools you will use throughout your day; including how to use the Alayacare app to view your roster, make notes and review customer’s care plans.

We will then look at your availability and the people you could be soon supporting; introducing you to their care and support needs. You will be shown how to view all the information you need, so you feel confident to safely provide quality services and supports for your new customers on day one.
