Clifton came to Accuro a little over 1 year ago at the recommendation of his coordinator after his previous carers moved on. He has chosen to use his NDIS funding to provide him with domestic and social supports.
These services are provided to Clifton by several of our Direct Support Workers. He especially enjoys being able to get out and about with a worker as company. "They are very caring, compassionate and kind. I love them all for the women they are"- says Clifton.
Clifton completed an Arts Degree at the University of NSW and pursued different career paths before being diagnosed with a debilitating illness. While he was able to support himself for many years after this he eventually got to a stage where he needed assistance. He can now maintain his dignity by living in a tidy home and have company on social outings.
