If you have a child under the age of 6 who has been diagnosed with a disability, you may be eligible for up to $12000 of funding form the  Better Start for Children with Disability initiative.

This government funded program provides funding for early intervention services such as audiology, occupational therapy, orthoptics, physiotherapy, psychology and speech pathology.

The Better Start website provides further information on eligibility and how to register.

If you live in an area where the new NDIS ECEI (Early Childhood Early Intervention) pathway is being rolled out you may need to register with them and not the Better Start program. You can find a registration centre here.
