Where We Service

Accuro Home Care currently services Gosford Shire, Wyong shire, Newcastle area, Lake Macquarie area, Maitland, Kurri Kurri, Cessnock, and many more surrounding areas. Our aim is to provide all communities with our high standard of quality, professional and friendly care. For services outside of our local area we can still assist with long stays, overnight care or holidays. We also support communities by referring a reputable care agency, service provider or home care service.

Our friendly team of employees provide quality and professional care for clients and are dedicated to community care. Our History

Since our establishment in 2004, we have continue to grow and adapt the business as the industry grew and changed. This will continue into the future with further growth anticipated.

Starting out

Accuro Home Care was established in 2004 around a dining room table by 2 couples with a vision. After working in the industry, they realised there was opportunity for improvement. Their vision? Simple. To provide the best care in the industry.

Central Coast Respite Centre

Accuro Home Care began providing services for the Central Coast Carer Respite Centre
2004

Brokerage Agreements Established

Brokerage agreements were established with many organisations. Namely ADSSI (Home Living Australia) and CCCC- now named Coast Community Connections.
2005

Community Business Awards Finalist

Accuro Home Care was a 'home-based business' finalist of the Community Business Awards supported by the Dept os State and Regional Development and presented by Wizard Home Loans
2005

Office opened in Toukley

The office in Toukley was opened and recruitment for Direct Support Workers and office staff began. Accuro had grown from a small home based business to a company experiencing significant growth.
2006

Champion of Champions

Accuro was a finalist in the 'Champion of Champions' Small Business Awards in the category of 'Services' sponsored by the Commonwealth Bank.

We received a NSW/ACT Employer Award for Excellence 'for leadership in employment of people with a disability' from the Australian Government
2009

NDIS Trial

Accuro Home Care was chosen as a trial organisation for for the NDIS in the Lower Hunter and Newcastle area
2013

70 Direct Support Workers in the Field

Due to opportunities presented by the initial roll out of the NDIS and growth of client base.

Tafe Recognition

Tafe NSW recognised Accuo Home Care as a provider of choice and values the ongoing commitment to develop a skilled, engaged and responsive workforce.
2017

Change of Ownership

One of the original directors who left to pursue other business interests and then returned in 2015, purchased the business from the remaining founding director with a vision to continue with strong growth.

Accuro Homecare became part of Outlook (Aust) Ltd. A non for profit social enterprise that creates and facilitates sustainable opportunities for people with a disability to live, work and play within our communities
